Game on with our Chopstick Culture iPhone and iPad app!

We're proud to announce our first ever phone app! Below is the detail. It's available in iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch at iTunes store.

Below is the description:

The Chopsticks Culture: Your Photo Guide to Exploring Chinese Cuisine app is a cool, flashy and boisterous program that will remind you of a trip to Chinatown. What is its primary use? Challenge your friends in a game and see who can match a mouth-watering Chinese dish with its name in English, Chinese and phonetics.

If that’s too simple for your taste or your liking, try the app’s main use: master the way of ordering Chinese dishes in Cantonese or Mandarin with the help of our adorable Madam Chu and cool Master Zhao.

Or you can simply abandon the educational aspect and let the app show the waiter what you want to order.

In this maiden creation by our multi-award-winning cultural team, we promise you authentic Chinese food only. The app will help you stay away from coffee and hot dogs, for they are not listed!

In developer's lingo the app has around 100 photos of Chinese food, corresponding English simplified and traditional Chinese names in phonetic spelling, and sound files. The game includes three levels and a top scoreboard.

In this Kindle version, the sound and game modules are not available. But it’s still a great handy photo guide for learning to order Chinese food, or showing the waiters what you want to eat.

The book is arranged in this order:
1. Photo of dish
2. English name
3. Name of the dish in traditional Chinese and Cantonese phonetic spelling
4. Name of the dish in simplified Chinese and Mandarin phonetic spelling

It's available at the iTunes store now.
